Joshua W. Mermis
Joshua Mermis has broad experience in litigation, with a focus on construction, energy, product liability and business law. Joshua has extensive trial experience conducting jury and bench trials, as well as arbitrations, from homeowner claims to multimillion commercial projects throughout Texas. He represents domestic and international companies including developers, general contractors, subcontractors, product and equipment manufacturers, and business owners.
In addition to his litigation practice, Joshua counsels clients on general business issues including contracts, leases, construction-related agreements, master service agreements, liens, and employment issues.
Joshua is actively involved in the construction industry and the community, currently serving as the Chair of the Houston Bar Association’s Construction Law Section. He is also a frequent speaker and author on a variety of topics concerning the construction and energy industries.
