Associate
Kevin G. Markowski is a litigation associate for West Mermis PLLC. He provides legal advice and counsel to members of the construction industry and assists on complex construction disputes involving homeowners, general contractors, subcontractors, and insurance companies.
Prior to joining West Mermis, Kevin served as an Assistant County Attorney in the General Counsel Division of the Harris County Attorney’s Office. His practice included transactional real estate matters, consumer protection litigation, and advising local governmental entities. Kevin also served as General Counsel to his family’s electrical contracting firm and previously apprenticed in the field, enabling him to develop a real-world perspective of the construction industry.
Kevin earned his J.D. from Baylor University and his undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University. He also has an M.A. in Global Affairs from Rice University. He remains passionate about Aggie football.
