Mr. West is a founding partner of West Mermis PLLC and currently serves as its managing partner. He has more than 31 years of litigation experience handling cases all over the State of Texas. His practice includes complex commercial litigation, construction defect litigation, business litigation, insurance defense and worksite accidents. He is AV Rated by Martindale-Hubbell, which is the highest rating in legal ability & ethical standards. In addition, he continues to be named both as a Super Lawyer and one of Texas’ Top-Rated Lawyers. Mr. West is a frequent lecturer on business litigation, construction litigation and risk shifting provisions in commercial contracts.
