Taylor M. Hunter
Born in Baton Rouge, but raised in Houston, Mr. Hunter grew up knowing two things: he wanted to become an attorney and a LSU Tiger. After graduating with a degree in finance, Mr. Hunter continued his education for three more years under the stately oaks and broad magnolias.
Prior to his time at West Mermis, Mr. Hunter was fortunate to have many legal work opportunities spanning three states –with an eye towards construction, business and litigation. Such experiences include supervised practice at both the East Baton Rouge District Attorney’s Office along with the Jackson Hole, Wyoming Town Attorney’s Office. He also clerked in Houston and Saint Francisville, Louisiana, focusing on construction, products liability, and general business matters. His current docket focuses on commercial and construction litigation, products liability litigation, contract disputes, general business matters, mechanics and oil & gas liens, and personal injury defense.
An avid skier and sports fan Mr. Hunter applies his competitive nature to the advocacy of his clients, focusing on their needs throughout representation.
